The Jim and Tabitha Furyk Foundation was created in 2010 to help children and families in need. With Jim’s success on the PGA TOUR, the couple decided it was time to establish a foundation to continue support of community charities.
The Jim and Tabitha Furyk Foundation is dedicated to helping support those organizations that lend a hand to those who can’t fulfill the most basic needs. By providing project specific funding to these organizations, the foundation helps to give food for underprivileged children, care for children with life-limiting or threatening conditions, and simply providing a safe place for them to go after school.
While the funding for the majority of our programs is staying in our local community, the awareness and impact of the charity work is being spread nationwide and globally through our work on the PGA TOUR. Last year’s Furyk & Friends Event helped to support nationally-recognized projects such as Blessings in a Backpack, Community Hospice, and Wolfson Children’s Hospital.
Raising charity dollars is important, but what the Jim and Tabitha Furyk Foundation also wants to do is to bring awareness to the many local charities that are supporting children and families. They provide project specific funding to organizations so children and families know that they’re not alone and help is available.
We thank you for your support in our foundation’s mission to make a difference in the lives of children and families in need.
